New Delhi: India will host the South Asian Junior Table Tennis Championship in New Delhi in June 2015.

The tournament will be held at the Talkatora Indoor stadium from June 17 to 19. The tournament is a qualifier for the South Asian Region countries to take part in the Asian Junior championship which will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from July 22 to 26. Competition will be held in Junior and Cadet teams, singles and doubles.

India has traditionally dominated the South Asian Junior championships. At the last championship held in Islamabad in Pakistan, India bagged 10 gold medals.Seven countries, India, Pakistan, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan and Afghanistan are expected to take part in the three-day tournament.
