SELECTION TRIALS OF PLAYERS (BOYS) IN CADET AND SUB-JUNIOR CATEGORIES FOR PSPB TABLE TENNIS ACADEMY AT AJMER ON MAY 14-15, 2016

Dear Colleagues,

It gives me great pleasure in informing you that the PSPB has decided to conduct the selection trials for admission into the PSPB Table Tennis Academy at Ajmer in Cadet and Sub-Junior categories for the year 2016-17. The selection trials will be held on two days, May 14 and 15, 2016 at the Academy premises.

Though players will be selected on the basis of performance during trials, due weight will be given their performance in National Ranking and National Championships.

The eligibility criteria for trials in Cadet Boys section will be that those boys born on or after 1.1.2005 will be considered and those appearing in Sub-Junior Boys category trials will have to be born on or after 1.1.2002.

All players participating in the selection trials should bring their original certificates issued by the school authorities, age-proof certificate (Date of Birth certificates duly registered with the Municipal authority concerned) as per the TTFI guidelines. Without these mandatory documents, no player will be allowed to participate in the trials.

The selected players will be provided following facilities at the Academy:

1. Free boarding and lodging;




2. Free schooling with school uniforms and books, etc.;




3. Free training with all equipments and sports kit;




4. All expenses will be borne by PSPB for participating in all National Ranking/National Championships;




5. Pocket allowance of Rs. 500/- per month;




6. Transport to school and back;




7. Admission to schools in Ajmer will be arranged by the Academy.

All state associations are requested to recommend two best players from your state for the trials (one each in Cadet and Sub-Junior) for the trials. They will be provided free hospitality for three days, that is, from May 13 to 15, 2016. However, the boys will have to bear their travel expenses both ways.

All state associations should send names of the two recommended players latest by May 7, 2016, with their full bio-data and photographs to the following email IDs with all supporting documents:
