Meghna and Kamlesh take charge

New Delhi, December 19: The newly-elected members of the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI), led by President Meghna Ahlawat, assumed charge today and vowed to work for the betterment of the sport in tandem with Secretary General Kamlesh Mehta and Treasurer P. Nagender Reddy and other members of the executive.

 

 

 

On behalf of the Committee of Administrators (CoA), S. K. Tandon, the Manager, handed over the reins of managing the TTFI in the presence of S.D. Mudgil, a member of the CoA.

 

 

 

Soon after assuming charge, the president and secretary general said their utmost duty would be to devise means and methods to conduct the three National championships. "All of us will sit down and work out a way out and soon come up with plans on how to organise these championships. These are on our priority list," said the president.

 

 

 

The eight-time national champion said the new body would soon convene an Executive Committee meeting and unveil its other plans. "Our players have been doing well in the international arena, and it's our primary job to provide them with all the necessary support they would need.

 

 

 

The president and secretary general profusely thanked the chairperson and other members of the CoA for their guidance and smooth handover of the charge.
