A camp to remember!

Indore: The Regional Hopes Follow-up Camp 2016, held at Indore between August 7 and 13, had its desired results, thanks to Eve Jeler and her team of experts.

The 22 campers, coming from different countries of the region, left for their shores enlightened and satisfied after having spent useful time at the camp, learning several aspects of the sport they passionately pursue.

Not only did they gain experience but made great friends-one of the aims of the camp-with fellow campers. The practice sessions they had gone through for the first six days with technical support must do them a world of good as they graduate in the years to come. The motivational sessions must have boosted their morale and prepare them for tougher battles ahead.

It was not just these boys and girls or the five local paddlers but even the coaches that accompanied the campers gained in knowledge which they can impart whenever they take lessons in table tennis and impart the nuances of the sport.

The Madhya Pradesh Table Tennis Association, with its secretary Jayesh Acharya at helm and who is ably guided by a team that has vision, the camp was bound to be a success. As for the venue and facilities, it was world class and came in for praise from no less a person than the head of the camp.
