Condolences

I am shocked to learn about the sudden demise of Mr Chiranjib Choudhary, who left us for the heavenly abode yesterday night.

Personally, and on behalf of the Table Tennis Federation of India, let me share our sorrow with you and your family. His untimely death has plunged us all into grief, and we offer our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family at a time when you and your children need all the strength to bear the irreparable loss because the void he has left behind is difficult to fill.

His contributions to the growth of table tennis in the country, especially in the northeast, have been noteworthy and too well known. They will remain etched in everybody’s memory. We would miss him forever.
We pray to God to give you strength and for his soul to rest in peace.

President, TTFI

When I heard the news in the morning, I could not believe my ears. It came as a shock to me that Chiranjib Choudhary is no more. I had known Chiranjib, as a player and as an administrator, for so many years. Our association goes a long way back to our playing days.
The loss is personal for me and my wife, Monalisa.

Mona and I share our grief with you and your family at the untimely demise of Chiranjib while offering our condolences to the bereaved family and his near and dear ones. I pray to the Almighty to give you all the strength you need to bear the loss that is so huge.

I have been a witness to the contributions he has made with diligence to organise tournaments in Shillong and promote the sport of table tennis in the northeast. Our bonding as players and his niceties are what I remember to this day, and they will always occupy our minds whenever we recall his services.

Our treasurer, P. Nagender Reddy, joins me in condoling his passing away as we pray to God for his soul to rest in peace.
