Following the initiative of the Table Tennis Federation of India, the two units of West Bengal, namely West Bengal Table Tennis Association and North Bengal Table Tennis Association, have merged together to form a single unit under the new name of Bengal State Table Tennis Association (BSTTA).

India's campaign in the 2019 ITTF-ATTU Asian Table Tennis Championships came to an end when G. Sathiyan, our last man in fray, went down fighting to Lin Gaoyuan 1-3 in the quarterfinals at Yogyakarta on Friday evening.

G. Sathiyan reached a big milestone in his career when he became the only second Indian to reach the men singles quarterfinals at the prestigious continental event when he defeated An-Ji Song of North Korea in the 24th ITTF-ATTU Asian Table Tennis Championships at Yogyakarta, Indonesia, today.

Indian men finish fifth, win gold in 1st Division

 

The Indian men's team finished fifth, its best ever results, after beating Hong Kong 3-1 in the ongoing 24th ITTF Asian Table Tennis Championships at Yogyakarta today. Concurrently, they also won gold in the 1st Division when they blanked out Iran 3-0.
