Arun Singh Barhat, a bronze medal winner at the World Veterans Championships in January this year at Muscat, Oman, passed away after reaching here for the 29th Masters' National Table Tennis Championships yesterday.

Abhay Chhajlani, 88, who passed away on Thursday morning after a prolonged illness, is synonymous with sports, especially table tennis. The loss is irreparable, and not surprisingly, the table tennis fraternity has joined hundreds of thousands of his admirers in mourning the sudden demise.
