Rio Olympics-bound Soumyajit Ghosh upstaged his icon and friend Achanta Sharath Kamal in world ranking on today.

Bonanza for Utkarsh, Manika, Neha and Sabhya

 

Utkarsh Gupta of Delhi was bestowed with the Rajiv Gandhi State Sports Award for his accomplishments in both national and international table tennis events along with a prize purse of Rs. 2 lakh. He received both the trophy and the cheque from Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, who is also the state’s Education and Sports Minister.

India Club wishes paddlers well

 

It was a nice gesture on the part of expats living in Dubai to honour the Indian players, both current and former, along with some of the TTFI officials at a gala function held in their honour by India Club at Dubai.

Profitable Dubai outing for Ghosh, Manika

 

It was a fantastic outcome for former national title-holder Soumyajit Ghosh and women’s reigning national Manika Batra at the Nakheel Table Tennis Asian Cup which concluded at Dubai tonight.

PSPB SELECTION TRIALS

 

It gives me great pleasure in informing you that the PSPB has decided to conduct the selection trials for admission into the PSPB Table Tennis Academy at Ajmer in Cadet and Sub-Junior categories for the year 2016-17. The selection trials will be held on two days, May 14 and 15, 2016 at the Academy premises.

As per the directive from the ITTF’s Umpires & Referees Committee, with effect from 1st July 2016, all umpires are to use the new hand signals to indicate for illegal services by the players. Appended below is the link to the new hand signals for illegal services.
