Update of LARC 2015B Immediate suspension of Efforter racket coverings

 

The ITTF Executive Committee has decided to suspend all Efforterracket coverings from LARC (List of authorised racket coverings),with immediate effect on 4 January 2016.

Senior boys and girls make it a Rajasthan affair; Maharashtra, N.Bengal share junior titles

 

Both Rajasthan's Mayur School and St. Xavier's Senior Secondary School lifted the Senior Boys and Senior Girls trophies in the 11Even Sports Inter-School National Table Tennis Championships, which concluded at the Abhay Prashal here today.

Real contenders emerge, fakes fade out

 

Pretenders were separated from real contenders as Rajasthan's Mayur School, and North Bengal's Siliguri Girls High School moved into the Senior Boys and Senior Girls semifinals of the 11Even Sports Inter-School National Table Tennis Championships, which was inaugurated at the Abhay Prashal here today.

Mayur boys, Siliguri girls start favourites

 

Rajasthan's Mayur School, spearheaded by Manav Thakkar and Anukram Jain, looks like the team to beat in the first-ever 11Even Sports Inter-School National Table Tennis Championships, organized under the aegis of the Table Tennis Federation of India and beginning at the Abhay Prashal, from tomorrow.

Hon'ble Sports Minister Nanubhai Vanavi unveiled tobu, the mascot of the Avadh 20th Commonwealth Table Tennis Championships-2015, to be held between December 16 and 21, and also the logo at a function at the Science Centre here today.

Sharath, Soumyajit and Sathiyan exit in round 32; Indian engagement over

 

India's table tennis engagement in singles and doubles events at the ongoing Asian Championships at Pattaya, Thailand, came to an end as the men and women paddlers bowed out after putting up some exiting performances. Additionally, the Indians would have also gained individually with good ranking points during the course of their participation. 

Indian men in contention, women bow out in singles

 

As expected, all the Indian players entered the round of 128 in men's singles of the the Asian Table Tennis Championships at Pattaya (Thailand), which began today. But it was curtains for all the female players who bowed out of the singles, including Mouma Das and Ankita, who had survived to enter the round of 32.
