Jalandhar, April 30: Anil Kashyap of Assam ascended the top of the podium to claim the gold medal and hoist the winner's trophy after beating Sudhir Kesarwani of RBI in the final of the 40+ category singles for men in the UTT 29th National Masters Table Tennis Championships at the PAP Indoor Stadium today.

Pankaj keeps his date with destiny, enters the medal round


Jalandhar, April 29: Pankaj Sharma of Punjab kept his date with destiny to enter the medal round in the 60+ category singles for men after he beat Prafulla S Wagh of Maharashtra 3-0 in the UTT 29th National Masters Table Tennis Championships at the PAP Indoor Stadium today.

 

Thus, he ensured the first individual medal for the hosts as Punjab had garnered a team silver on the third day of the championships.

Bengal, Karnataka and Maharashtra pairs in final


Jalandhar, April 28: Chandrani Dey Ganguly and Koushidev Sarkar from West Bengal will cross swords with Soumya Narendrapra and Sandeep Kannambadi of Karnataka for the title in the 40+ mixed doubles final of UTT 29th National Masters Table Tennis Championships at the PAP Indoor Stadium tomorrow.

Jalandhar, April 27: Neeraj Taneja of Punjab managed to take his first-round match in the singles of the 40+ category for men but lost out to a determined Anu Singh Pruthi of Delhi 2-3 in the UTT 29th National Masters Table Tennis Championships at the PAP Indoor Stadium today.

Audit men make it count, win 40+ team title


Jalandhar, April 26: Indian Audit A defeated Punjab A to win title in the final of the men’s 40+ category of the UTT 29th National Masters Table Tennis Championships at the PAP Indoor Stadium here today.
