Howrah, October 25: PSPB’s Manav Thakkar defeated teammate Harmeet Desai 4-1 to lift the men singles trophy—his first this season—even as West Bengal’s Krittwika Sinha Roy upset top-seed Sutirtha Mukherjee of Haryana 4-1 for her maiden women singles crown to bring the curtain down on the UTT National Ranking (East Zone) Table Tennis Championships which concluded at the Howrah Indoor Stadium here today.

Yashansh, Prapti emerge Youth title winners


Howrah, October 24: Delhi’s Yashansh Malik defeated Jeet Chandra of Haryana 4-2 to claim the Youth Boys singles trophy while the Youth Girls’ crown went the way of Prapti Sen of West Bengal, who beat Moumita Datta of Railways 4-1, in the UTT National Ranking (East Zone) Table Tennis Championships at the Howrah Indoor Stadium here today.

Howrah, October 23: Delhi’s Yashansh Malik defeated Deepit Rajesh Patil of Maharashtra 4-2 to enter the final of the Youth Boys singles in the UTT National Ranking (East Zone) Table Tennis Championships at the Howrah Indoor Stadium here today.
