Vadodara, December 12: Fourth seed Bhatnagar International School entered the Senior Boys final when they beat top-seeded Jamnabai Narsee School Maharashtra 3-2 in the 11Even Sports Inter-School National Championships, being played at the Sama Indoor Complex here this morning.

They will now take on second-seeded Loyala High School from Goa in the final, to be played later this afternoon. The Goan school defeated Techno India School from North Bengal 3-1 in another tough semifinal.

In Senior Girls, SBOA from Tamil Nadu moved into the final after accounting for Maharishi Vidya Mandir from Assam 3-0 to earn a final meeting with Siliguri High School from West Bengal. The latter won 3-1 against Jamnabai Narsee School from Maharshtra.

Earlier, Cambridge Convent form UP defeated local team Navrachna School 3-1 and their boys will take on Sri Kumaran Children’s Home from Karantaka who downed Maharaja Agrasen School from Rajasthan 3-1. 

In another semifinal upset, fourth seed Nalanda Public School from Maharashtra blanked out top-seed Jermel’s Academy 3-0 while unseeded Kalyani Public School from West Bengal sent second-seeded Scholars Rosary from Haryana with a 3-1 verdict.
