World Table Tennis Day Celebrations
AT 1800 hours IST tomorrow, India will celebrate World Table Tennis Day at Jalandhar, an ancient but important industrialized city of Punjab. It is also known as an education hub in the northern part of the country. To mark the occasion, over 970 people (700 Players, 70 Officials, and 200 table tennis will gather—the majority forming the above 40+ category and including 80+ players as well—at the Punjab Armed Police Stadium. The grand celebration will also see the participation of children dancing to the tune of music and followed by a gala dinner.
